This is going to be a blog about books. They are probably mostly going to be some of my favorites, but I'll put down others as well. To start with, I bet every body in the world has heard of "Harry Potter", and at least half of you have read them! The writing is incredible! If you have not read them, yet, they're pretty high up there on my list of cool, incredibly awesome books.
Another amazing series is a curious set by the author Pseudonymos Bosch. (From sources unknown I've heard that his real name is Robert.) His series is called the "Secret Series", and my favorite one in it is, "This Book Is Not Good for You". It's mainly centered on (omg!) chocolate!!!:) Which, if you wanted to know, is one of my favorite delights in the ENTIRE world! Hopefully, every one agrees with me, or else I'll have to come and........ I don't know what. Oh well:)
Next up we have what I like to call the Ink series. It consists of 3 books starting with "Inkhear". There isn't an actual name for the series, but they all start with ink so--lightbulb!--why not call them Ink series?!:) They are all by Cornelia Funke. I'm guessing a bunch of you know about the movie made about them, but in my opinion, the movie makers didn't follow the story all that well. The books are really good! Cornelia had a really amazing idea for the plot and I'm also really impressed with the writing. Another positive is the wide variety of unique characters in her books. I'll give you a hint- it's actually about a book!!
More to come about each of these books. As a first blog, I only wanted to give you a few hints about what's to come! Just keep on reading!:) Enjoy!!
Liv:)
OH YEAH DANCING THINGS (o^ ^)o (o^ ^o)
ReplyDeleteo(^ ^o)!
I watched Inkheart as a movie. It was pretty good! Olivia, my favorite books are Greek and they are by an author named Adele Geras. She is so very talented in her writing! It's so amazing! My three favorite books of all time are all by Adele Geras
ReplyDeleteHere we go:
1) Troy (not the one at school)! :]
2) Ithaka
3) Dido
SO those are my top three favorites!!!:D
Troy and ithaka are both about war, action, betrayal, romance and there is a lot of drama. Also, they have some REALLY romantic scenes (if you know what I mean...)
If you aren't allowed to read Ithaka and Troy, then pretty please read Dido! It's so amazing! It's all about a queen's life and what happens when her serving maid falls in love with the same man as her!!!
Feel free to email my role model anytime and visit her website! Here's the link:
